Structural/Building Surveys

This type of survey is usually carried out on second hand commercial properties (shops, offices, warehouses, etc.) prior to purchase. The report will identify defects within the property, advise on remedial works where required and provide budget remedial costs. The report will enable the building surveyor to advise what impact the condition of the building will have upon the purchaser which will allow the purchaser to make an informed decision prior to purchase. The report, depending on the size and condition of the property is usually 10-12 pages. Chartered Building Surveyors are specifically trained in this area.
